Can I start?

YES, YOU CAN!

The only document you need to get during your training is a medical certificate (Class 1 or Class 2). This certificate can be delivered by one of the "aero medical centres"  located in Brussels or Zaventem. For a Class 2 medical certificate (for private pilots only), you can also contact an "authorized medical examiner". Please contact us for the details of these authorized medical centres and doctors.

However, please note that you can begin flying before holding a valid medical certificate. All the hours that you fly before holding your medical certificate will be taken into account in your training.

Please also note that you can begin your flight training before commencing the theory course.

As a reminder, there are no pre-entry requirements to start your pilot training! You can apply now for your first flight!

NB: A student pilot should be at least 16 years of age before the first solo flight. An applicant for the PPL final exam should be at least 17 years of age.
